GASSHYUKU AT " JOURNEY ROAD "
We went to a " gasshyuku " in Ibaraki for a week to prepare for our next recording. " Gasshyuku " is a basically a place like " band camp " in the U.S. We get three meals a day, sleep in our own rooms in a cottage and have access to our own practice studio where we can jam for 24 hours a day!! For the price, it was amazing!! The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff was really nice. It's also near the beach so you can surf.. that's if you have any time!
Here was our schedule everyday for a week:
- wake up at 7:30am
- eat breakfast at 8:00am
- rest until 9am
- vocal warm-ups and exercise
- practice until 12:30pm
- eat lunch
- rest until 1:30pm
- practice until 7:00pm
- eat dinner
- rest until 8:30pm
- exercise
- practice until 2am or until we we're too tired
- bath
- meeting
- sleep
It was a hard week but was also very fun and productive! I can't wait to go again!!
