We went to a " gasshyuku " in Ibaraki for a week to prepare for our next recording. " Gasshyuku " is a basically a place like " band camp " in the U.S. We get three meals a day, sleep in our own rooms in a cottage and have access to our own practice studio where we can jam for 24 hours a day!! For the price, it was amazing!! The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff was really nice. It's also near the beach so you can surf.. that's if you have any time!

Here was our schedule everyday for a week:

- wake up at 7:30am
- eat breakfast at 8:00am
- rest until 9am
- vocal warm-ups and exercise
- practice until 12:30pm
- eat lunch
- rest until 1:30pm
- practice until 7:00pm
- eat dinner
- rest until 8:30pm
- exercise
- practice until 2am or until we we're too tired
- bath
- meeting
- sleep

It was a hard week but was also very fun and productive! I can't wait to go again!!

Can you see the skull?

Our friend Ryo rode his moped from Yokosuka to Ibaraki 7 hours!!!! PUNK ROCK! Thanks Ryo! You are always FRESH!

I'm addicted to Red Bull.... I admit it.. It all started from our tour 2 years ago. Travelling in a car crammed with equipment, clothes, junk and your band members, going to different places to play, sleeping in internet cafe's, uchiage party after our shows.. can really attack your energy level. So before each show we would drink Red Bull. At that time there weren't many places that sold Red Bull so we didn't drink it that much.. but now almost every convenience store sells Red Bull making it that much easier to fall into temptation.. well I guess it's better than drinking beer!! I had a dream a few weeks back.. I was being attacked by a huge RED BULL MONSTER.. maybe I should take a break.. ahahhaa!

Yotam Ben Horin from " Useless ID "

K5, Zino and I went to Useless ID's show at Shinjuku Loft. I've been listening to their CD's for awhile now and I was excited to be able to watch them live for the first time! Hope we can play with them the next time they come to Japan! Other bands that played were Nerf Herders and Second Shot. Thanks Tomy and Ryo from The Circumstance and to Daisuke from Valve Drive for the hook up!
