XMAS EVE PARTY @ NEW LEX TOKYO ROPPONGI !

Played a Xmas Eve Party at NEW LEX TOKYO in Roppongi ! It was crazy! Lex is a famous club in Roppongi known for it's killer atmosphere and crazy nights. I used to go to Lex with my friends just to hang out, dance and drink, but when I was asked to play a show there, I was soo stoked! My friend Travis was jamming with me adding his spice to the songs which was great! If you have never been to New Lex before, it's a must! Thursday nights is Ladies Nights and Fridays and Saturdays are always nuts!

Many of you might ask " who is this guy Aaron's always drinking with ? " He's my good buddy Ryo, funny guy and a really good friend! We always have fun when we go out drinking, this night I had a show to play at where I didn't start until 4 am!! Just put it this way.. we started drinking at 8pm at Coldrain's final at Astrohall in Harajuku. I was dead tired but had a great time!

Tonight I went to my friend's house for dinner. Every christmas they decorate their house with the coolest lights and xmas decorations! My friend's mother actually has her own little restaurant built in their house, we try to go there every xmas for dinner! MOM CAN COOK!! GREAT FOOD!

BACK IN SHONAN !

Hawaii was great! Seeing old friends, surfing nice waves, eating delicious food... time went by so slow. Now I'm back in Japan, I'm sad but I also feel re-charged and ready to rock! Today I woke up early and took my guitar down to the beach.. I realized that I live in one of the nicest places in Japan! Sometimes I take things for granted. 2010 is going to be a great year!

Our last night in Hawaii we had dinner with my good friend Darren and my friend Mito who I have known for almost 15 years!! Mito is a Japanese pro bodyboarder who lives in Hawaii. She shreds at the old sponge, she also teaches surfing and bodyboarding! It was great talking and catching up on things with her !

LAST SURF SESSION @ DIAMOND HEAD AND STOLEN SLIPPERS !

this was the last time I saw my slippers! Economy must be REALLY BAD ! Well at least they got stolen on my last day in Hawaii !

I was surfing through the net one day when I came across Kirby's blog on go-naminori.com. For those of you who don't know him already, Kirby is a pro surfer who lives in Hawaii and travels all over the world diving and surfing the best oceans! After looking at his blog I noticed we had so much in common, like going to the same junior highschool and highschool, also having the same friends in Hawaii and Japan! I e-mailed him and we've been keeping in contact since. Today Kirby took some shots of me at Kuliouou Beach Park and Portlock in Hawaii Kai, then we grinded a killer Japanese bento for lunch! Thanks Kirby for a fun day and it was nice to finally meet you!
